When you make a gift to Soroptimist, you are joining an organization committed to ensuring women and girls have the resources and opportunities necessary to reach their full potential and live their dreams for years to come.
There are many ways to leave a lasting impact, and every gift will help Soroptimist reach the 20 million women and girls who are eligible to benefit from our global Dream Programs - Live Your Dream: Education and Training Awards for Women and Dream It, Be It: Career Support for Girls.
By including Soroptimist in your long-term plans, you can achieve the goals that are important to you - to benefit yourself, your family, and Soroptimist's mission that you value and believe in.
The Laurel Legacy is Soroptimist's way of recognizing and honoring the generosity of those whose future gifts preserve the strength of the organization, and help women and girls to live their dreams.
Planned gift commitments are acknowledged on our website and thanked with a beautifully designed pin. In addition, when your gift is received, your name will be inscribed on the Laurel Legacy memorial plaque at Soroptimist headquarters.
If you've already included Soroptimist in your estate plans, please let us know so we can properly thank you and make sure your gift will be used as you've intended. Sharing your intentions allows us to plan for the future.
I long to leave this world far better than it was when I started my journey.

Contact us now and commit to making a future gift that will ensure our global Dream Programs continue for years to come - benefitting women and girls in need in our 21 countries and territories.
Through a provision in your written and executed will, you can make a gift in the form of cash, securities, real estate or personal property. There are many types of bequests. Choose the one that best fits your needs and intentions.
Naming Soroptimist as the beneficiary of a qualified retirement plan asset such as a 401(k), 403(b), IRA, Keogh, profit-sharing pension plan or other donor-advised funds, will accomplish a charitable goal while realizing significant tax savings.
You can turn underperforming assets (stock, cash in a savings account, CDs, savings bonds, etc.) into a gift to Soroptimist that provides income to you. Your Charitable Gift Annuity will give you quarterly, fixed payments for life and tax benefits, too.
Name Soroptimist as a beneficiary of your donor advised fund. Designate us to receive all or a portion of the balance of your fund through your fund administrator (you can also make a grant to us at any time from your donor-advised fund). The balance in your fund passes to Soroptimist when the fund terminates.
When you donate appreciated stocks, bonds, or mutual fund shares instead of cash, you'll receive charitable deductions at full, fair market value while reducing capital gains impact.
If you're 70 ½ or older, you can make a gift directly from your IRA to Soroptimist. While there is no charitable deduction for a rollover gift, you do avoid the income tax on the donated portion of your required minimum distribution.
There are many giving options available to you, such as naming Soroptimist as a beneficiary in your will and charitable gift annuities that provide steady income for you and your family during your lifetime. For more information, please find our contact info below, or submit this form.
